Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to the Puaka Matariki Festival 2012.

Please join this year's event organisers to celebrate the official opening of thefestival. Kai, drinks and kapa haka provided. Event organisers, please remember to bring a plate!

This opening event will also be an opportunity for us all to support the King’s and Queen’s High School Kapa Haka Group, He Waka Kōtuia, who are competing for the first time at the National Secondary School Kapa Haka Competition in Whangarei in July 2012.
