Pre-Marriage Supercharge for Brides and Grooms

Josh and Amy will share five key tips for a fulfilling and lasting marriage for couples-to-be.

Just as you would attend ante-natal classes before having your first child, before your wedding you will learn about the key things that sustain marriages, the common things that muck them up, and also how you can build your marriage into a relationship where you'll grow together.

The cafe will be open from 6:45pm for coffee, refreshments, cakes and slices.

Josh and Amy McLaren:
Amy is the author of The Ball & Chain and Other Stupid Myths, a book that helps new couples avoid negative marriage myths and build a marriage they both want. She also runs a business supplying baby products to supermarkets and pharmacies.

Josh is a pilot with Air New Zealand and has five years of teaching experience with an international flying school. He also spends time on building projects and playing sports.

Both Josh and Amy are accredited users of the Prepare-Enrich international marriage coaching programme developed in the USA. They founded No Myth Marriages, which runs relaxed and fun pre-marriage workshops, out of a passion for reducing unnecessary divorce in New Zealand and around the world. Pre-marriage training has been happening for centuries and is proven as the most effective way to reduce divorce.
