Like the wily hero-traveller Odysseus, voracious Wellington Celtic musicians and students Rennie Pearson and Oscar West similarly Ren and Oscar possess an ever-turning multiplicity of combined talents. This dangerously young duo play a a range of instruments including flute, fiddle, mandolin, guitars, Scottish small pipe, along with some surprising additions rarely seen in folk music in an inspiring exploration of Irish, Scottish and other Celtic infused traditions. Watch out for an original scope of aptly arranged sets made up of vivacious reels, mesmerising airs, vicarious jigs and tremendous waltzes. This is truly music that will have your toes tapping and occasionally fists pumping!
