Caliban is played by 2010 Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival winner Karam David, recently returned from performances at Stratford-Upon-Avon and the Globe.
Director Lilicherie McGregor brings her many years of theatre practice to the production, including experience as an assistant director for Eugenio Barba's famous Odin Teatret in Denmark. Her innovative refashionings of Shakespeare's works are well-known throughout New Zealand.
