Join artists Piupiu-Maya Turei and Hana Aoake for performance and kōrero exploring the idea of the 'Plastic Maori'. Witness the performers being altered and 'reborn' into the Maori New Year with a fresh and new idea of who they are, how they relate to their culture and what it means to be Maori in Aotearoa's society today. "We want to explore the views of the audience through kōrero and the sharing of ideas. This show is an interactive exploration of what it means to have a private identity within a public multicultural society."
