Pirate Themed Regatta Market Day

Calling all pirates! Dress up as a pirate – be spotted by our very own pirate, Matty and you could win a spot prize!

With fabulous market and entertainment featuring:
• Live band Vertigo,
• Matty the Pirate,
• Michelle Watson – balloon twister,
• Face painting by Cushla from About Facez,
• Pirate ship bouncy castle for the kids,
• Free balloon for pirate kids.

The Bennett Shield Cup rowing regatta is being held on nearby Lake Pupuke, which draws thousands of people to it. Free shuttle buses will be transferring people between the lake and the market, and also to the general election polling booths around Milford.

The Pirates Day is a link back to the old days of Milford when there was a dance hall on the beach reserve called the Pirate Ship and shaped accordingly.

Market stalls on Kitchener Road on the footpath underneath the verandah with great items and gift ideas for Christmas.
