This is an intermediate level course and assumes some previous knowledge, either gained independently or by attendance at our starter courses. A deeper look inside the program with special attention being paid to the notoriously difficult use of Paths.
Pathe are the way to make selections of subjects that have solid sharp edges and provide superior results than other selection tools. In the class examples we will use paths to cut out objects like bottles, watches and furniture form their backgrounds whilst preserving their natural sharp edges. All tutorial files and demonstration videos will be given to every student so you can repeat and re-enforce your learning once you get home.
We will look at:
Why use paths?
Paths palette
Path options
Turn a path into a selection
Turn a selection into a path
Naming and saving paths
Moving paths from one document to another
Type on a path
Making masks from paths
