The Mermaids Dance Band invites you to A Party! A elegant and sophisticated Ball at historic venue Hopetoun Alpha, in the heart of Auckland.

Ticket Price includes canapes and bar service - both alcoholic and non alcoholic, throughout the evening.

You are also invited to - Dress to Impress. Full length gowns or cocktail dresses for the ladies and suits for men, are essential.

The Mermaids Dance Band feature three great female vocalists: Joe Cotton, Pauline Berry and Tammy "the voice" D'Ath, with guitarist Dixon Nacey and keyboardist/Musical Director Stuart Pearce.

Specializing in dine and dance events, this lineup has performed for most major companies at private corporate events around New Zealand over the last ten years.

They perform popular dance music from the last 50 years to now, including motown, disco, rock n roll, R & B, 80s pop and techno, with style, personality, glamour and impeccable vocals. A diverse range of music aimed at the dance floor will be performed; Mancini, Ella Fitzgerald, Al Green, Abba, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, Kylie, Rolling Stones, Adele, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and much more.

This event is inspired by the ten years The Mermaids Dance Band have been performing at the Masquerade, Mid Winter and New Years Eve Balls at The Bayview Chateau, Mt Tongariro. Couples travel from around the globe to attend year after year, to soak up the enchanting and elegant
atmosphere, eat superlative buffet, wear their most stunning evening attire and dance all night to The Mermaids Dance Band. This year the magic will be recreated in the heart of Auckland City for the first time, in beautiful, historic venue Hopetoun Alpha.

Upon arrival at 7.30pm you will be greeted with new release Methode Champagne from Akarua Wines or cocktails. Canapes and handmade boutique beer will be available as well as an array of white and red wines, plus orange juice and mineral water through the evening. Live music begins at 8pm.
