MUZAI Records (NZ) can't believe that they've managed to pull off perhaps the flukiest tour to hit New Zealand since... well... whatever hyperbolic comment you want to add... Pairs "Summer Sweat" NZ Tour 2012!

Having started gigging in late 2009, Pairs have become one of the city’s most exciting live bands with explosive shows driven largely by Australian drummer Xiao Zhong’s stage antics that frequently include him leaving his drum kit to beat out rhythms on any available surface and to dive into the crowd to distribute free CDs. Local girl F’s understated persona and fuzz-filled guitar meanwhile maintain some semblance of sanity.

26th January - The ARC Theatre, Whanganui (with god bows to math and guests)
27th January - Mighty Mighty, Wellington (with god bows to math and Jetsam Isles)
28th January - The Lucha Lounge, Auckland (with Sharpie Crows and god bows to math)
2nd February - darkroom, Christchurch (with special guests)
3rd February - Auckland - Secret Show
