Kōauau workshop (flute making)
Saturday 7 July, 1.30pm
Cost: $10 per person
Let your creative juices flow by making your own flute and making you own music. Create a traditional Kōauau (flute) with kaiako/teacher Alex Whitaker. Maximum 10 people per workshop.
Manu aute workshop (traditional kite making)
Saturday 7 July, 10.30am to 1pm
Cost: $5 per person
From fun, through flourish to flight. Learn to make traditional Māori kites using natural resources - raupo, karari, and toitoi with kaiako Lucy Smith.
Orokonui kapa haka in the Atrium
Saturday 30 June & Saturday 7 July, 12.30pm
Cost: free
Waitati school children will perform waiata, poi and haka. Enjoy the sound of young voices soaring amidst the beauty of nature.
