Family-friendly orienteering in Hagley Park. Ideal for beginners, families and those up for a challenge!
Orienteers will be on hand to help.
There will be a variety of courses to try, including a 60 minute score event where you collect as many points/controls as you can in a given time. You can start this event any time between 10am and 1pm.
For the up and coming and those wanting a challenge, there will be a couple of novel courses to test your map reading skills! Good for Spring Challenge.
Food and coffee available.
After Hagley Park, enter PAPO's 3-person orienteering relays at McLeans Island on July 1st.
Proceeds from the day will go to supporting Ryan Batin and Selena Metherell in the NZ Junior orienteering team competing in Slovakia in July at the Junior World Champs. Many thanks.
