Discover the simple secrets of growing food, in the tranquil setting of Kelmarna Organic Gardens. Topics will include garden design, permaculture principles, waste minimisation, growing organic produce, companion planting, seed saving and pest control techniques. There will be a high practical component.
$4 is payable to tutor on first session for seeds. Wear gardening clothes (sun hat if sunny, raincoat if drizzly) and bring a snack/drink for tea-break. If it is raining steadily, session will be postponed in which case we will do our best to contact you.
A postponed session will not be rescheduled to take place during a long weekend (such as Easter Weekend).
