Open Mic Night

Forge Bar agreed to let us have a relaxed space to have an open mic night. The first night went well, the second went even better, so much so that they have asked us to make it a regular fortnightly slot.

Haven't had much experience in front of a crowd? We want you to come down! Play solo? In a duo? In a band? Come down and have a jam with some of South Auckland's undiscovered talent.

Bring your own instruments - a sound system, electric guitar amplifier, leads and microphones will be available for use. There is also a secure place to store the gear if you would like to sit and enjoy the other musicians.

Forge have also offered to provide half priced drinks for those performing - one more excuse to get up and jam!
