Midnight Youth is playing at Onehunga's annual festival - a fantastic free community day out.

The chart-topping NZ band is going to be the big act at this year's Onehunga Festival, with a packed schedule of performances on stage throughout the day.

Super System, Auckland's premier tribute band, will be playing alongside Midnight Youth at the Festival. Super System will passionately recreate the phenomenal experience of U2 and play a mini concert packed full of family friendly hits!

Elsewhere in the Bay Reserve, there will be loads of family entertainment with activities including a large inflatable water slide, rock climbing wall, children’s train, craft and food stalls, on-water activities, displays from local fire brigade and fun things to have a go at!

    Change of venue for Te Papapa Onehunga Rugby & Sports Club registrations

    Registrations for the club were going to happen at Onehunga Festival. with the cancellation of the festival, registrations will now happen at their club rooms from 11am at 5 Olea Road, Fergusson Domain, Onehunga.

    NEWSFLASH: 2012 Onehunga Festival CANCELLED

    NEWSFLASH: The Festival Committee regrets that the Onehunga Festival has had to be cancelled for this year due to the bogginess of the grounds at Onehunga Reserve.

    Unfortunately, there is no alternative day for this event.

    Huge efforts were made to drain away the wet left by the heavy rainfall earlier in the week, with special thanks to Jim Jackson for his work in this.

    Thanks to our hard-working Festival Committee and everyone else involved in pulling together what was to have been a fantastic day; and our huge regrets that we were not able to get our wonderful community together for this annual celebration of Onehunga.

    We will look forward to helping create next year's Onehunga Festival - and hope for better weather!
