It's all happening at the Parnell Farmers' Market this Saturday. Old McDonald will have all his animals there for the children to see and touch - and yes, probably smell...

They might even want to become animals themselves: who wants to be painted as a tiger? A lion? A dog? Face painting - always a popular one.

For the grown ups, the market is bursting with fresh vegetables, fruit, flowers, breads... in fact, it will be all dressed up because it's hosting the Taste Farmers' Market New Zealand Awards with judges Jonny Schwass, Nadia Lim and Julie Biuso on Sunday 1 July.
