Ohau Channel Clean Up - Conservation Week 2012

Join River Rats for a kayak from Lake Rotorua through the Ohau Channel to Lake Rotoiti and pick up any rubbish from the channel and the river banks. We will finish at the boat ramp on SH 33 and can assist with shuttling people back to the lake front to pick up vehicles.

Other details: children should be accompanied by an adult - check with River Rats in the event of bad weather and please contact River Rats to register your interest and advise if you will need to hire a kayak.

What you will need to bring: Your own kayak, lifejacket, and clothing appropriate for the conditions on the day.

If you wish to hire a kayak a limited number are available for $10 per person. This includes the kayak, clothing and equipment. Please phone to book.
