A singing and swinging set of tunes by Horace Silver, Thelonious Monk and others, all performed by Tessa Quayle and other Wellington musicians, including the fiery playing of James Illingworth on piano and the renowned Nick Tipping on double bass.
This concert is part of the NZSM's Friday Lunchtime Concert series held each week during term time. The concert venue alternates each week between the Adam Concert Room (ACR) on the Kelburn Campus, and the NZSM Concert Hall on the Mt Cook Campus.
Te Kōkī, New Zealand School of Music is a joint enterprise of Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington.
