You're invited to an evening with Valerie Adams!

Double gold medalist Valerie Adams is coming to Nelson and Sport Tasman invites you to meet her. Hear Valerie talk about her 2012 London Olympic experience at the Nelson Sports Awards.

This event is open to the public and tickets start at just $15.

These awards recognise outstanding performance and service to sport by people of the Nelson region.

Nominations are now open and will close on 15 October. Nomination forms can be downloaded at www.sporttasman.org.nz/sports_awards

2. Sportswoman;
3. Sports Team;
4. Junior Sportsman;
5. Junior Sportswoman;
6. Junior Sports Team;
7. Coach;
8. Masters Sportsperson/Team;
9. Lifetime Contribution to Sport.

This event is open to the public.

Programme
This year there is a focus on 'linking with our Olympians' following on from our athletes' successes at the London 2012 Olympics.

The awards dinner will begin at 6.30pm where a three course plated meal will be served, some complimentary refreshments will be provided and thereafter a cash bar will be available. The dress code is formal.

Guest Speaker
World, Commonwealth and Olympic champion Valerie Adams has been named guest speaker at this year's awards. Nick Tansley will emcee.

$85 - Awards Dinner includes 3 course meal, awards presentations and Valerie's presentation
$15 - Gallery Seat to Valerie Adams' presentation only
