Classes run Monday - Friday (9am - 1.30pm)

Overview:
The National Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 3) provides a basic introduction to the skills and knowledge involved in the education and care of infants, toddlers and young children within the sociocultural context of Aotearoa/New Zealand. This qualification is an ideal place to start if you have not studied for some time or left school without qualifications.

Entry criteria:
A minimum of 18 years of age
Agree to undergo a police check and interview
A desire to work with children aged between 0-5 years

Child development, observation and play
Parenting in New Zealand
Professional practice and ethics
Food technology and nutrition
