This prestigious choir was founded in 1964, but are only now making their first tour of New Zealand. They have toured on fourteen previous occasions and have sung in the U.K., Germany, Italy, France, Austria, China, Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines to name a few. They have been involved in the Commonwealth and Olympic Games; André Rieu's tour; the Three Tenors as well as several other notable events.
In New Zealand they sing at:
- St Peter's Church, Takapuna, with the Auckland Boys Choir and the Orlando Singers on July 3rd at 7:30pm;
- Civic Theatre, Rotorua on July 5th, 7.30pm; a free concert;
- Napier Cathedral on July 7th at 7:30pm, where they are fundraising for the Cathedral Organ Fund; and
- Wellington on Monday July 9th at 5:30pm, a fund raising concert for Christchurch Cathedral.
They also will participate in the service at 5pm on Sunday July 8th in the Anglican Cathedral, in Wellington.
