Nancy is a Paraparaumu artist who has lived in the Kapiti region for many years. In this exhibition Nancy explores two themes - Women and Waves. With ‘Women’ she has juxtaposed the Renaissance period against modern day painting techniques. ‘Waves’ is all about transferring the energy of the sea onto canvas which is always challenging. “I found it refreshing to intersperse the seascapes while working on the figurative series,” says Nancy.
