Who Should Attend?
The course is designed to give you a working knowledge of the essential business processes using MYOB business software. This practical hands-on course will take you from entering sales, purchases and banking right through to reconciling the bank account.

The course is designed for businesses who buy and sell items, as well as those that are service based. You may have set up your company file; or you may be new to MYOB software and need to learn best practice.

Navigate using the sample company, Clearwater
Explore the accounts list and view key reports
Create a new company file and enter company information
Use the Easy Setup Assistant to customise your data file
Modify a starter accounts list
Enter opening balances

Enter service Sales and Receive Payments
Enter service Purchase and Pay Bills
Enter Banking entries; Spend Money, Receive Money and Transfer Money
Change recorded transactions
Prepare the GST return

Section One - The Sample Company

In this section you will be exploring the sample comapny and become familiar with the basic command centre functions of the MYOB software.

MYOB have provided users with the Clearwater files so that you can review and try the options and functions first. Then once you have achieved the expected outcome, you can apply the process to your own files.

Section Two - Setting up a Small Business
In this section you will be exploring the procedures for setting up a small business. It is important that you set up your small business correctly from the start, with accurate details. MYOB makes this easy for you.

Section Three - Entering Day to Day Transactions
MYOB enables you to perform day to day transactions easily. You will review the basics of processing sales and purchases to reconciling the accounts in a day to day situation.
