The Thames area was one of the first to encourage alternative live-stylers to the area. The Eco expo has everything about organic and sustainable living. The emphasis is on turning back the clock to traditional food and technologies to help sustain us in the future. There are food stalls, produce stalls, clothing, demonstrations, transport alternatives, fuels, building information, power and water systems and much more.

Entry is by gold coin donation. This event is an official event of Thames Heritage Week.
