One of Southland's premier mountain bike and off-road run events, this race is set just outside of Gore, and is billed as an ideal warm-up to the Motatapu.

There are distance options of 40km Dead Keen mountain bike or the BNZ-sponsored 35km Moonlighters race. If you prefer two feet to two wheels, then take on the tough 15km run, sponsored by Allan White Sports Shoe Clinic, or a hilly but achievable MLT-sponsored 5km run/walk.
