A unique dining experience in the heart of hinterland Otago. Middlemarch lays on the best country hospitality with a Christmas lights festival and a traditional Christmas Feast.
Depart Dunedin Railway Station by Taieri Gorge Railway train at 3:30pm and arrive in Middlemarch just after dark. Fun for couples and social groups with a fully licensed train and cash bar at the Strath Taieri Hall.
This is a Middlemarch community fundraiser, held annually which is getting a huge following from townies looking for that good country atmosphere and delicious food.
