At Metazoa, Darwin meets the digital age! In this interactive art installation you will become an on-screen mirror image of yourself; firstly as a protozoa (single-celled organism), then as more complex species ranging from plants, marine organisms, reptiles, birds, and mammals to imaginary post-human forms. You will see your creature move and make sounds within its habitat, alongside other species that evolved in the same era. Finally, collaborate with other visitors to solve an onscreen jigsaw puzzle which will propel you into the next environment in an ecological shift.

The exhibition was created by new media installation artist Angela Main.
