Matakana School is turning 150 in 2012, and we're celebrating and commemorating this occasion with a day of festivities.
We'll start the day with registrations in our community hall, and then there will be an opportunity to visit the beautiful Matakana Coast area before the official programme commences.
Planting of ceremonial trees and unveiling of a commemorative monument, time capsule, memorabilia exhibition, cutting of an anniversary cake, are some of the many ways we will commemorate this day.
