Now in its second year, the Matakana Fruitloop follows a 7 kilometre trail through private vineyards, olive groves and orchards, with stunning views of the Matakana Coast. Live music, wine tastings and outrageous costumes are all part of the fun en route. Funds raised support the construction of a community walkway between Matakana village and Omaha Beach.
Entries from $15 to $30, enter online at www.matakanafruitloop.co.nz. Walk starts from 3pm, live music and costume judging from 2.15pm. Sponsored by The Sound FM and Turners and Growers.
