A national storytime honouring Margaret Mahy will take place on August 11, at libraries throughout New Zealand.
Local children's author Juliette MacIver will read her three favourite Margaret Mahy picture books at Porirua Library, in the story alcove, at 11AM. This will be followed by a Down the Back of the Chair craft designed by fellow children's author and artist Fifi Colston, who knows more things to do with an egg carton than most people have eaten poached eggs.
