There is a distance and challenge for every ability - 200m State OceanKids, ‘Give it a Go' 300m and ‘Step it Up' 1000m as well as the ‘I’m Going Long' 2.8km.

This stunning venue for the final race of the State New Zealand Ocean Swim Series, takes place on Takapuna Beach, one of Auckland’s most scenic east coast beaches. The ‘I’m Going Long’ 2.8km swim will start at Milford Beach and follow the coast line to Takapuna. Along the way you will see some of New Zealand’s prime real estate to your right and the majestic Rangitoto Island when you are breathing to the left. The three other events on the day take place off Takapuna Beach. You’ll find an event to challenge you at the State King of the Bays.
