Omaha Classic

The Omaha Classic Run/Walk is held in picturesque Omaha Beach, just 50 minutes from Auckland City, on Sunday 1st April 2012. Come and experience the beauty of Omaha Beach whilst enjoying a community event. Funds raised will be invested in physical activity related items to benefit the children of Matakana School.

Registrations opened on 20th January, and include a 10km run/walk, a 5km run/walk, and a 2km kids' dash. Cut off for registrations is 8:15am on the day.

This event is in its third year with the focus being to encourage our children and community to be active.

This event is growing annually and is a much welcomed event in the Matakana Coast area, which is home to a flourishing wine industry, stunning scenic reserves, and regional parks. We invite you to experience the beauty that Matakana Coast has to offer by spending the weekend and exploring the area.
