Mangawhai Annual Summer Gala

Whoever you are, whatever you do, we hope you will join us for the Mangawhai Annual Gala held on 02 January (every year) - a day that brings all of Mangawhai, its holiday visitors and increasingly people from afar together for entertainment, food, fun and games. Every year the crowds have been growing, numbers of stallholders increased, numbers of entertainment opportunities increased and there are more opportunities for food and drinks.

Many of the old favourites will be back in 2012 - dog obedience and agility demonstrations, cafe and BBQ, music entertainment, quickfire raffles, games, sideshows and rides, wine tasting etc, multiple stalls (many new ones this year), almost 200 stallholder sites (many new) and helicopter rides. Come and see what will be new - pony rides are returning after an absence of a couple of years, a fishing contest for the young (live fish will not be harmed!), alpacas, Hot Rods and we are still working on others.

The Domain Committee has appreciated the support of the Mangawhai community for this, the biggest single day event at Managwhai, over the years. It is the major fund-raising event to keep the community-owned Domain operational and improved – so your support for the event will be much appreciated.

If you just want to come and enjoy the day as a visitor, turn up at the Domain at any time after 0900 and remember when you are 2 adults and a kid, it costs the same ($8.00) to bring your car and park inside than it does to come through the gates. Gate entry is $3 adults, $2 children. Hope to see you there.
