Mandy Pickering - The Heart Strings Tour

Since winning the last series of 'Stars In Their Eyes', Mandy Pickering has been performing at events around New Zealand and has recorded her much anticipated debut album which critics claimed was "one of the best locally produced albums ever made" and describing Mandy as "a class act with vocal ability to match."

Her nationwide tour will feature songs from her debut self-titled album and new original songs that she has written for her second album which is well underway.

Each live show will feature the Heart Strings guitars, a series of seven guitars hand crafted using timber donated by owners of many historic Christchurch buildings that fell in the Canterbury earthquake. The guitars will be individually be auctioned off at a high profile event on 24th February to raise money for organisations within the struggling Christchurch Arts Community. This tour allows people from all over New Zealand to come and see, hear and touch these amazing guitars.

Jason Pickering, designer of the Heart Strings guitars and Christchurch musician, will accompany Mandy on this national tour along with talented musicians, Brad Banks, Jo Barus and Roslen Langton.
