Manawatu Lawn Tennis Club - Open Day

MLTC open day and 10,000 shot rally.

Jono Spring, Head Coach of the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Club, is attempting a 10,000 shot rally with his assistant coach and student, Bridget Dickins.

Open day starts at 9am & the rally attempt begins at 11am.

We are fundraising towards improvements to the Tennis Club, its facilities and coaching equipment. The day is also doubling as an open/gala day for MLTC as well as a chance to showcase tennis to the general public.

There will be raffles running with donated prizes from generous local businesses, as well as an auction, barbeque, and second hand tennis racquets etc. available to purchase.

There will also be exhibitions running of both the Tennis NZ initiated Grasshopper tennis programme that is operating throughout schools in the Manawatu region as well as hitting demonstrations from our best local junior players who currently hold NZ level rankings.
