Carlos has taught at many international festivals and events around the world. His first YouTube video attracted over 7 million hits! Because of his carefree, lighthearted and fun attitude towards dancing, people are ultimately drawn to his bachata style and his teaching methods. Known for his unique teaching ability and “bachata musicality” music course. Sharing his passion of Dominican style bachata to sold-out workshops at festivals all over the world.

1.30pm. Bachata breakdown Pt.1 - instrumental foundation.
Learn the instruments of bachata and hear things within the music that will open your ears forever. Guaranteed to have you hearing bachata music like you never have before. (1/2 lecture, 1/2 dancing)
2.45pm. Timing & body movement
4.00pm. Traditional Dominican bachata partner work & footwork Pt.1
5.30pm. Bachata on the beach - free!

Sunday Feb 26

1.00pm. Bachata breakdown Pt.2- rhythmic foundation.
Understand each of the 3 core rhythms of bachata and learn how to feel the energy and dance to the music within the music. Now you will feel bachata like you never have before. (1/2 lecture , 1/2 dancing)
2.15pm. Traditional Dominican bachata partner work & footwork Pt.2
3.30pm. Traditional Dominican bachata partner work & footwork Pt.3
5.00pm. Bachata on the beach – free! (time & weather permitting)
8.00pm. Salsa, zouk & bachata on Sunday at Viva
