Discover the fun of klezmer music and join us for the first Late Lounge for 2012. Eight piece Wellington band Klezmer Rebs will share their own version of klezmer music, world/folk music born out of the Yiddish/Jewish culture of eastern Europe in the 1800s and 1900s. Relax on a bean bag, pull up a chair or get dancing - all galleries, cafe, shop and cash bar open until 9pm.

Klezmer music moved on to America and in the early 1900s began to fuse with jazz and swing. The 1980s saw an international revival of klezmer music - come along and discover it for yourself.
