The Rotorua Lakefront will come alive as thousands will gather for the staging of “When Love comes to Town,” the annual Lakeside concert spectacular. A 17-piece orchestra led by Auckland’s Mark Dennison will back some of the nation's leading artists, including Hinewehi Mohi, Jackie Clarke, Frankie Stevens, Bella Kalolo and Rotorua’s own, musical theatre singer and dancer, Turanga Merito. The line up includes the return of an inspirational operatic section. Show artistic director, Kate Ward Smythe of Auckland says, the show will feature effects never before seen in Rotorua.
This is a free family concert. If you would like to purchase tickets to the reserved seated area in front of the stage they can be purchased through Ticketmaster at the Rotorua Convention Centre, 1170 Fenton Street.
