Kerikeri Half Marathon Street Party

This party is getting bigger and better each year! Kerikeri's Main Street is closed off and filled with over 25 foodies from Northland selling wonderful fresh food, plus local boutique and award winning vineyards and a bar dedicated to serving nice cold beer!

Three top Northland bands are playing - Thelonious Punk are supplying their modern jazz, Latin and funk sounds as we play through the music of Freddie Hubbard, Stevie Wonder, Miles and even some Monk be-bop. Their second album is on sale andthey will be throwing some original grooves into the set. Furious Three are the ultimate covers band and have everyone up dancing.

The carnival atmosphere is topped off with stiltwalkers and fire eaters! Perfecto!

The beautifully landscaped main street in Kerikeri as well as being filled with food and wine stalls and plenty of tables to sit on, also has its restaurants, bars and shops open - so you can relax, eat, dance, drink and if you want to shop the night away!

There is plenty to do in Kerikeri over the Half Marathon weekend - you can either run or walk the half marathon on Saturday then relax at the party! Or you can visit the many vineyards, take in the historic stone store basin, do the art and craft trail, enjoy the many restaurants and shops. Sunday they have the Farmers Market with its vibrant atmosphere, fresh food and entertainment.
