It continues to be paramount for our community to celebrate our kuia and kaumātua both as receptacles of knowledge as well as gatekeepers who have ensured the survival and sustainability of tikanga which has been handed from one generation to the next.
Now in its 8th year, the evening includes a hākari (feast), guest speakers and live performances of an era circa to the kaumātua/kuia. Please contact Te Roopu Tautoko ki te Tonga to become involved in this very important celebration of our kuia and kaumātua.
