Favourites:
We are a ukulele group. We play music from all cultures on ukuleles, sing and have fun. We meet once a week.
Some weeks we meet at 6.30 for teaching sessions and rehearsals. The main part of the evening is from 7 pm till 9 pm. Easier songs in the first hour, more challenging songs later. We all play, we all sing, we all have fun.
All welcome, including visitors bearing ukuleles. We draw upon members for our performing group, Ukes A Plenty.
Our second Katikati Ukulele Festival will be held on April 20, 21 and 22, 2012. For details, see the separate listing in festivals.
