Karaka Vintage Day is hosted by The Karaka Historical Society in association with Vintage Engine Restorers Auckland (VERA). It is a popular biennial event showcasing the machinery used to shape New Zealand during the last century.
Vintage engines, vintage and classic cars and motorcycles, vintage tractors, trucks, tools, military vehicles, the “MASH” Bell 47 Helicopter, a vintage Tiger Moth flyover and much more will be on display.
Clydesdale horse & wagon rides, steam traction engine & trailer rides, a children’s entertainment area and a variety of food, drink and craft vendor stalls will be on site. Bands will play throughout the day adding to the friendly, family atmosphere.
Money raised from the event will be donated to the new Karaka Museum. While many artefacts have been displayed work on future exhibition areas and the interior of the building continues. The Museum will be open to view on the day.
Karaka Vintage Day is an exciting, educational, fun family day not to be missed. Cash entry only.
