How to power through the most difficult circumstances and experience thrival, not just survival.
Pat Armistead, RGN, Dip Ed, Dip FTM.
Facilitator, coach, author and artist leading you to Joyful Empowerment.
This is your chance to spend the day with joyologist Pat Armistead learning how to use the powerful principles of humour and positive psychology to enable you to thrive not just survive!
Pat has been described as a “spiritual midwife, delivering people out of the darkness”. Dr Ric Coleman says she is “NZ’s answer to Patch Adams”.
Pat says “You are here to bring joy, not just into your own life but the lives of others. Our current reality consists of great contrasts: there is wonder and beauty and there is war and poverty.
"We see great acts of kindness to humanity and we see violence, yet in this space we have the capacity to become the observer and choose our responses. I call this joyful empowerment. Joyful empowerment is what happens when mind, body and spirit is harnessed and you feel fully self expressed.”
Participants will learn how to:
- become more of an observer, rather than a judger;
- shift your thinking and perceptions of life events;
- create a new optimistic vision for your future;
- identify new strengths and talents;
- practice being mindful.
Pat will show you how to develop the skills and presence to lead a happy, engaged and meaningful life; irrespective of current circumstances. You will identify limiting beliefs and what’s important to you and create a compelling vision. With renewed purpose you will step into your more authentic self.
Bring a plate/finger food for a shared lunch each day. Morning and afternoon tea provided.
