Following her untimely death in 2003, Joanna Margaret Paul left a legacy of thousands of items of art and poetry. This collection, now housed in Dunedin is being catalogued and is represented by Brett McDowell Gallery.

The gallery's annual exhibition focuses on watercolours & drawings, many are of a domestic nature - architectural works, landscapes and nature and figure studies.
