Japanese Whisky Tasting

It brings us great pleasure to be the first in Auckland to do a full-blown Japanese whisky tasting. We will present a full range of whiskies, many of which have won numerous medals. In the lineup, we will be doing mostly single malts with the addition of a few of their blends.

The Japanese have been making whisky since the late 1800s, but the first distillery (Yamazaki) was not opened until 1923. Since that time, their whisky has become recognised around the world as an exceptionally crafted malt, and has been a regular in the race for medals. Over the last few years in the shop, we have seen a great deal more interest in our Japanese range. It only seems fair to offer everyone who has not had the pleasure of trying these beautiful malts, a chance for a sample.
