This 3 day introductory course is designed to give students an insight into the methods and techniques that are taught on the South Seas 1 year full time On-Screen Acting Diploma course.
Each student will have the opportunity to work in front of the camera in ad lib situations, with scripts, individually and in pairs.
Work is recorded and reviewed throughout the course, enabling students to identify their potential as actors within the film and TV industry. Basic acting technique and script analysis is touched on, as is auditioning and commercial work.
Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate confirming their participation. During the course all students are carefully assessed to evaluate their potential for further study at the school. Assessment will include their ability to focus, take direction, learn and interpret lines, as well as their level of English comprehension and ensemble work.
Auditions for the 1 year diploma course are often held the weekend following the intro course. Please contact us prior if you are interested in these auditions.
