Have a go! This 8-week course is intended to introduce you to some of the basic skills and techniques that can make writing so enjoyable. You might already keep a journal, or have written some poetry or short stories, but would like to find out about some of the tools professional writers use to make their work publishable. If so, then this is the course for you. We create a supportive environment in which you can spread your wings, take risks, but in the knowledge that our expert professional writers will provide a guiding hand. There are no prerequisites for this course, other than your willingness to participate in a group learning environment.
The course is taught by John Cranna, Director of the Creative Hub, with workshops by poet Siobhan Harvey.
