Ground Zero: On the Nightmare Road!
With Nightmare B4 Xmas just weeks away, Impact Pro Wrestling will hit The Howick Recreation Centre on November 17 for Ground Zero! This will be a night you won’t want to miss as it will be an event that will shape the face of Nightmare B4 Xmas on December 8!
IPW Commissioner Dion McCracken has today released two huge matches that will indeed determine just who will be competing in Fans Bring The Weapons come December 8, and he has promised much more will go down at Ground Zero as we head down Nightmare Road!
“As we all know, Nightmare B4 Xmas is the biggest and final event of the year. And it’s on that night our fans have the unique opportunity to dictate just how things will pan out for our competitors, as they will be a part of the most popular main event match in New Zealand Professional Wrestling, Fans Bring The Weapons!.”
Dion McCracken told impactprowrestling.co.nz
“It’s been a gruelling year for the current IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Champion Kingi, and I can tell you all, and Kingi himself, that it’s not going to get any easier. Kingi will have the opportunity to compete in Fans Bring The Weapons on December 8 should he get past the man challenging for his gold at Ground Zero, and that man will be Liger. I’ve been impressed by this man as of late and I want to see what he has one on one with the best in the business right now, so I’m giving Liger a chance to not only claim the ultimate prize in the game, but a chance to headline the biggest show of the year. The winner of this match will put the title on the line in Fans Bring The Weapons at Nightmare B4 Xmas, who will that be against? Well, we’ll also find that out at Ground Zero.”
“Three men will compete in a Triple Threat Number One Contendership Match on the 17th of November, with my main men “The Deal” Dal Knox & Dave O’Connor clashing with the 140kg giant…Reuben de Jong! All three of these men put up an amazing effort at Rival Turf, so I’m rewarding them with a chance to compete in the IPW NZ Heavyweight Championship Fans Bring The Weapons Match at Nightmare B4 Xmas. While Dallas & David have not exactly been on the same page as of late, I do understand why, they are both competitive men of the highest calibre who both want to achieve lofty goals. That’s to be admired. So at Ground Zero I’m giving them a chance to get a little bit of angst out of their system and compete for a chance to headline in December. For Mr de Jong, this is a chance to get back to the top of Impact Pro Wrestling and I know he desires to be the IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Champion once again. Good luck to all three men!”
Kingi battles Liger for the IPW NZ Heavyweight Championship and Reuben de Jong, Dal Knox and Dave O’Connor battle for the right to meet the winner in Fans Bring The Weapons at Nightmare B4 Xmas!
