The Huntly Jam Club is a solid, informal, friendly group of musicians in the Huntly District that has been gigging monthly on every 1st Thursday for over three years.
Huntly Jam venue is now at the Huntly Workingmen's Club, which has a nice stage and acoustics, plus dining room and all the club amenities you could hope for!
We supply a full vocal PA system with foldbacks & DIs, a drum kit, bass rig, keyboard and lighting. There is also a selection of guitar amps, but most guitarists bring their own gear.
It's an open mic night where we welcome all styles and all musicians and supporters, from soloists to bands. There's a great mix of music from originals to covers, acoustic to rock, and plenty of songs for any audience. Bring your group or just "team up" with some of our experienced musos.
The jam nights are completely free to audience, musicians, and even the venue, so all we ask is for locals and visitors alike to join in for a fun night! We usually set up from 6pm, which gives us time to organise the line-up and have dinner!
