Hassles associated with chores, homework and TV allowance can cause family life to become fraught, leading to power struggles developing between parents and their children. This workshop is designed to offer guidelines on what is age-appropriate and give ways to positively manage your family with routines and team work.
John Cowan
John has been a presenter and writer for Parents Inc. for more than ten years. He has a great ability to make people listen, as well as laugh and even sometimes cry. Using stories, humour, multimedia with a unique presentation style, he informs, entertains and educates. John is married to Naomi with whom he often presents and they have three teenage children. He is an experienced parenting educator with a background of medical research, youth work and family counselling, and is also an accomplished broadcaster and author.
