Recreational hip hop dance classes are an awesome way of getting fit, learning to dance like an MTV music video star all while having fun and listening to your favourite music.
Our hip hop classes are a fun and family focused. In these dance classes students will learn fun and engaging dances, make new friends and have opportunities to perform at local community events.
Teacher, Claire Baxter, is a leading commercial choreographer and dance teacher. She is owner and director of a performance based dance studio and entertainment company based within the Candy Lane Dance Studios in Mt Eden.
Claire has a real focus on people and the community. Her dance classes are inclusive, friendly and family orientated.
Hip Hop 1 5-7yrs every Monday 345-430pm
Hip Hop 2 8-10yrs every Monday 345-430pm
Hip Hop 3 10-12yrs every Monday 430-515pm
Claire is a huge supporter of Candy Lane and the Candy Lane Dance Studios. It is New Zealand's leading dance studio and the only studio you will find all forms of dance taught by leading professionals. The Candy Lane dance studios also offers classes in ballroom, Latin, jazz funk, jazz, ballet, cheerleading, Zumba, singing lessons and the list goes on!
